How does this work?
Farmers Telephone HeartLand Net has installed a system of wireless antennas covering the cities of Shenandoah, Red Oak, Clarinda, and Randolph. These antennae broadcast broadband Internet service into the airwaves. With the proper antenna and termination equipment installed at your home or business, you'll have an "always on" connection to this very high-speed Internet service. You continue using your same HeartLand Net email account but no longer need to dial in for access plus you'll enjoy dramatically faster speeds navigating the Internet.

How can I get more information?
E-mail wireless@heartland.net or call the business office at 800-509-3001.

Will this wireless service be available in other HeartLand Net communities?
It is our hope to expand this service in other Farmers Telephone HeartLand Net communities. Watch for updates.

Will this wireless service be available at all locations in towns served?
Probably not. The nature of a wireless system makes it hard to predict which locations may be unable to receive the signal. There needs to be line-of-sight access from our antenna sites to your location. Depending on where you are the wireless access may not be available or may be obstructed. As we add to the system more locations will have access, and we will come to your location and test before any equipment is installed.
